FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Ainsley Ramsey is from Scottsdale, Arizona and has been passionate about math for as long as she can remember. For years, Ainsley would memorize and recite hundreds of digits of pi (3.14...) every year on Pi Day (03/14). Each year she set a goal of reciting one hundred more digits than she did the previous year. In 2021 she founded the Piece of the Pi fundraiser to transform a personal hobby into something that could impact others in a meaningful way.

Ainsley graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees in actuarial science from Arizona State University (ASU) in 2020. She is currently an Actuarial Consultant at Edrington Health Consulting (EHC), a Health Management Associates (HMA) company, and is pursuing actuarial accreditation from the Society of Actuaries (SOA). She is passionate about celebrating the power and importance of women in the STEM field, particularly in the mathematics field.

In celebration of the 2023 Piece of the Pi fundraiser, Ainsley recited 1,000 digits of pi from memory!

When she is not studying for her fellow exams, Kinsey is busy wrangling her three cats, reading, and taking barre classes.

This is Kinsey's second year volunteering with Piece of the Pi, where she will serve on the Community Partnerships team.
